【托福培训-写作】“细腻、红润、有光泽”的句子

不管是托福写作，还是在大家的日常写作中，可能最为困扰大家的问题就是自己写出来的句子既过于简单而又干涩。句子是单词的载体，同时也是篇章的基础，因此其重要性可见一斑。下面就和大家一起分享一些使自己的句子变得“细腻、红润、有光泽“的方法。

（1）复杂原则

你是不是在写作中会经常使用many, difficult, good, bad等“平平无奇”的单词？并不是说这些单词在写作中不能使用，但是在托福的写作中，我们需要通过“复杂化”的流程对于这些“原材料”进行加工，如：

many - numerous, a great many, a wealth of, a multitude of

difficult - complicated, challenging, intricate

good - positive, beneficial, rewarding

bad - negative, detrimental, vicious

Cultivating children’s good habit of time management and self-control instead of restricting them is beneficial to their study. （教育类话题）

The air-borne pollution also falls back to the earth in the form of acid rain, which is detrimental to plant life and human beings. （环保类话题）

（2）温暖原则

往往不习惯于”单独活动“的名词、形容词、动词通常会拉上形容词和副词“结伴而行”——因此就有了“温暖”名词的形容词，“温暖”形容词和动词的副词，如：

take measures to - take effective/various/radical measures to

a competitive society - an acutely/intensely/fiercely competitive society

root in people’s mind - deeply root in people’s mind

Television, with its wide availability and increasingly prosperous programs, becomes one the most powerful means of communication in history, and is more and more difficult to completely ignore.（休闲娱乐类）

（3）多变原则

大家很容易理解，所谓的多变指的是在整篇文章中应该尽量减少某一个单词的重复使用，如在写作中出镜率最高的important可以替换成crucial, critical, primary等单词，也可以替换成of great significance, be indispensable to，play a pivotal role in等词组。然而，多变的最高境界应该是句型的转换。我们来看看下面的三个句子，如：

Many people think birth control is quite necessary in China.

More and more people realize that women should enjoy full equality with men.

Many Chinese people have gone to the U.S. in the past fifteen years.

大家有没有发现这三个句子因为主语都是“一成不变”的人，因此读起来“索然无味”呢？如果把它们修改为下面的句子，是不是就有些“风情万种”的感觉呢？

It is widely considered that birth control is quite necessary in China.

There is a growing realization that women should enjoy full equality with men.
