摘要：无论是雅思还是托福写作，评分标准中都有一栏对词汇的要求。“用丰富，多变的词汇或句型”。武汉小马过河国际教育的老师表示，对于词汇运用能力不超过3000考生而言，要达到这个目的不太现实。我们可以从词汇的“有效性”来提升整个文章的词汇颜值。效果同样也是impressive。

　　1. There be

　　1) 这个句型的最大弊端是,谓语动词没有表现力, 完全可以去掉这个结构，后面加相应的形容词或者动词，效果明显好转。

　　E.g. 1 There are many social activities for students .

　　改后 : Many social activities are available for students.

　　E.g.2 There are three hypotheses to doubt the story of the weapon“ burning mirror ”

　　改后: Three hypotheses doubt the story of the weapon “burning mirror”

　　2) 这个表达后面容易出现第二个谓语动词，导致语法错误。

　　E.g.1 There are a lot of current technologies are not desirable.

　　改后: A lot of current technologies are not desirable.

　　2 More and more

　　这个结构是我们从小用到大的，但是很多英文原著上基本看不到它。他的替换结构可以是

　　量词词组 a growing number of , an increasing number of ， 或者副词increasingly

　　E.g.1 More and more people assert nowadays parents are more involved in their children education than before

　　改后：a growing number of people assert nowadays parents are more involved in their children education than before

　　E.g.2 Modern parents more and more care about their children.

　　改后：Modern parents increasingly care about their children.

　　3 Have

　　这个词是万能动词，可以构成很多句子。但是很多时候。这个词和宾语的组合不地道，而且也没有表现力。可以把它变成相应的形容词、动词、或者with 结构

　　E.g.1Modern people are assumed to have a happier life than before.

　　改后Modern people are assumed to live a happier life than before.

　　E.g. 2 people who have secure jobs are happy and healthy

　　改后 people with secure jobs are happy and healthy.

　　E.g. 3 Now many parents have more knowledge than before.

　　改后 Now many parents are more knowledgeable than in the past.

　　4 Make

　　这个也是同学们也很头疼，想换换不掉。我们可以用更常用的写作学术词汇比如 enable ,allow来代替它。

　　E.g.1 Innovation makes it possible for companies to attract the number of consumers.

　　改后 Innovation enables companies to increase the number of consumers.

　　E.g.Humorous teachers can make their classes become intriguing

　　改后 ：Humorous teachers allow their classes to become intriguing.

　　5 Give

　　这个词学生很容易脱口说来的。由于是口语词汇，在写作中不宜出现。很多词汇可以代替它，offer , provide , supply达到好的效果.

　　E.g. 1 many workers complain that their companies do not give them good salary.

　　改后 many workers complain that their companies do not offer them good salary.

　　E.g.2 Seniors often give young generation some intelligent advice.

　　改后 Seniors often provide young generation with intelligent advice .

　　这些小技巧虽然不能极大改善你的写作能力，但是无数个小的量变可能促成质变。大家要用心搜集哦。
