一群吃饱了撑的欧洲人，不明不白的就跑到圣战组织的怀抱了，在解释这群人的动机的时候经济学人中有一个非常好的三个否定句连用的句型：

　　Poverty does not explain the lure of jihad for Western fighters. Many of them are quite middle-class. Nor does a failure to integrate into the societies around them. Nor does religious piety. More plausible explanations are the desire to escape the ennui of home and to find an identity.

　　估计读完这个之后很多人都疯了，你说你不为钱，不仇视社会，也不为宗教信仰，就是因为在家呆腻歪了想寻求刺激就去投身此等高危职业实在是让人很费解，真的是蛋疼不是病，疼起来是真要命啊!

　　但是上面的结论并不适用于所有的恐怖分子，我们一起来看看澳大利亚刚刚被干掉的哥们：

　　Man Haron Monis, an Iranian refugee described by those who knew him as a loner, was killed early on Tuesday after heavily armed police stormed the Lindt Chocolate Cafe to end a 16-hour hostage drama that made global headlines.

　　这哥们跟那些欧洲的兄弟还是有很大的不同的，很有可能是出身比较贫寒，而且最关键的是他太寂寞了，压根儿不愿意跟任何人产生联系，而且这哥们的记录实在是不太好：

　　Last year, Monis was charged as an accessory to the stabbing murder of his ex-wife, who was set alight in a Sydney apartment block.

　　M这个兄弟去年帮着别人把自己的前妻灭了，你说毕竟一日夫妻百日恩，人都没了，还为啥非得要放火呢?实在是令人发指啊!读到这里还没有完。。。

　　He was charged this year with more than 40 counts of sexual or indecent assault against women in Sydney, according to court documents.

　　看来真的是平时太寂寞了，也没啥女人，不能总一个人解决啊，偶尔也会控制不住啊，哎。。。读到这里还没完：

　　He was also found guilty in 2012 of sending threatening letters to the families of eight Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan and sentenced to two years in prison, although he served only a portion of that penalty.

　　他貌似真的是挺操心的，你说你再寂寞也不能骚扰烈士的家属不是，这个真的是有点说不过去，读到这里大家会不会感觉A这个国家还挺不错的，换到C的话这号人物应该不会有机会在去做同样的事情了，此处省略一万字。。。。在描述M这个哥们的罪行时文中并没有用同一个短语，而是换了三种不同的表达方式，做到了多样性，这个在我们平时的写作中也是至关重要的;

　　There is nothing more Australian than dropping in at the local cafe for a morning coffee and it's tragic beyond words that people going about their everyday business should have been caught up in such a horrific incident.

　　这个人真的是罪孽深重啊，你说你之前做了那么多，人家也没说啥，关你几年算了，应该说是仁至义尽了，出来就老老实实得了呗，实在不行的话你去劫富济贫也行啊，这也不失为大侠风范，你说你欺负大早上喝咖啡的手无寸铁的老百姓干啥呢?

　　These events do demonstrate that even a country as free, as open, as generous and as safe as A is vulnerable to acts of politically motivated violence.

　　此刻我想到了一句话，也许我们一生中有很多事情是不平等的，但是在死神面前是人人平等的，M这些人才不管这个国家怎么样呢?自己不爽怎么都不行。。。

　　遇到这种人该咋办，讲道理肯定是没用的，只有干丫的：

　　Amid a barrage of gunfire, police stormed a cafe in the heart of Sydney early Tuesday to end a 16-hour hostage siege by an Iranian-born gunman. Police said three people were killed - the gunman and two of the hostages - and four others were wounded.

　　虽然干的结果不是特别理想，有两个人质挂了，但是如果不干的话，那失去可就不一定是两个人质了：

　　"They made the call because they believed that at that time, if they didn't enter, there would have been many more lives lost," he said.

　　现在这哥们算是火了，但是这种火的方式真的是让人特别心痛：

　　Now the world's gaze has been leveled at Sydney.

　　世界的目光都聚集在了S城，光看着没用，我们必须得记住下面这个教训：

　　Terrorists are not a nation nor are they a government. They are a perilous tumour, which threatens the very existence of human civilisation. Only through a united effort, can the world stand fast to remove the root causes for terrorism, which needs to be stopped from taking a toll on more innocent people.

　　恐怖分子不是某一个国家和政府能够解决的问题，他们就像一个巨大的毒瘤;为了不让更多的无辜百姓丢了小命，团结协作还是必不可少的;
